These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the RAS Financial website and services. By using our website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

RAS Financial provides tax preparation, bookkeeping, and tax planning services to individuals and small businesses. Services are provided by IRS PTIN-registered tax preparers. The scope, timeline, and pricing for each engagement are confirmed in a separate service agreement or engagement letter provided to you before work begins.

2. Not Legal or Investment Advice

The information on this website is for general informational purposes only and does not constitute legal, investment, financial, or accounting advice. Tax laws change frequently. Always consult with a qualified professional regarding your specific situation. RAS Financial is not responsible for decisions made based on general website content.

3. Client Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate, complete, and timely information necessary to perform your requested services
• Reviewing all completed work before approving it for filing or finalization
• Notifying us promptly of any errors or changes to your information
• Maintaining copies of your tax records as required by law

RAS Financial relies on information provided by you. We are not responsible for errors resulting from inaccurate, incomplete, or untimely information you provide.

4. Confidentiality

We handle all client information with strict confidentiality in accordance with IRS Circular 230 and applicable state law. We do not disclose client information to third parties except as required by law or as authorized by you.

5. Payments

Fees are agreed upon prior to beginning work and confirmed in writing. Payment is due upon completion of services unless otherwise arranged. We accept payment via PayPal and Venmo only. No credit card information is collected or stored on our website.

Late payments may result in suspension of services. Unpaid invoices may be referred for collection.

6. Accuracy and Limitations

We prepare returns based on information you provide and our professional judgment. We do not audit or independently verify all information. If information you provide is incorrect, amended returns may be necessary and additional fees may apply.

RAS Financial is not responsible for IRS or state agency audits, adjustments, penalties, or interest assessments arising from information you provided or omitted.

7. Electronic Filing

We strongly recommend e-filing when available. However, no return will be filed without your explicit written or electronic approval. You may request a paper copy of any return we prepare.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, RAS Financial's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to our services shall not exceed the fees paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim in the twelve months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits or data.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate an engagement with written notice. You remain responsible for fees for services rendered through the termination date. We will promptly return any documents you provided.

10. Website Use

You may use this website for lawful purposes only. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the site, use automated tools to scrape or harvest data, or use the site in any way that could damage, disable, or impair its operation.

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is owned by RAS Financial or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of IA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of IA.
